Art Direction Debut — Crash Course
A huge thank you to John Green and the entire Crash Course team for trusting me with their first stylistically divergent project in over 10 years— and my debut as an Art Director on the channel.
Tackling the graphics for a 50-minute film that is both intellectually stimulating and profoundly important was an exciting and rewarding challenge. I couldn’t have done it without my team’s support and enthusiasm for more experimental approaches, like using filmed ink bleeds as a metaphor for the organic, relentless spread of disease.
I hope this deep dive into the history of tuberculosis not only teaches some cool and compelling facts, but also sparks curiosity about how we can all play a role in its eradication today.

50-minute lecture edited in Adobe Premiere Pro, with graphics animated in After Effects using Dynamic Link to support a remote team workflow.
In addition to developing, animating, and exporting each graphic, I served as the finishing editor, delivering the final version published on YouTube.
