Art Direction and Motion Graphics by Megan Toenyes
A huge thank you to John Green and the entire Crash Course team for entrusting me with their first stylistically divergent project in 10 years and my Crash Course Art Directing debut. Tackling the graphics for a 50-minute film that's both intellectually stimulating and profoundly important was an exciting and rewarding challenge. I couldn't have accomplished it without my team's support and enthusiasm for my experimental approaches, such as using filmed ink-bleeds as a metaphor for the organic, relentless spread of disease. I hope this 50-minute deep dive into the history of tuberculosis not only educates you with cool trivia facts, but also sparks your curiosity to understand how we can be a part of its eradication in the modern world!
